Coach
Originally from Ghana, George joined Washington Rush in 2024.
George began playing soccer at the Ghana National Sports College Soccer Academy in Winneba, Ghana. During his time there, he was selected to represent Ghana in the International Youth Soccer tournament in Nigeria. He later moved to Eswatini in Southern Africa where he played professionally with Vovovo Soccer Club. He now owns the top soccer academy in Eswatini. George Quality Soccer has produced and developed players who are currently playing in FC Malaga in Spain and notable soccer academies in England including Bracknell Town Football Academy.
Most recently, George was the Physical Education Teacher and head soccer coach for both boys and girls teams at Waterford Kamhlaba United World College of Southern Africa (U.W.C) Eswatini. Coach George has also coached with several premier league and first division clubs in Eswatini. He holds a Confederation of African Football (C.A.F) coaching license C certificate from Eswatini, FIFA Women's Soccer coaching certificate and FIFA Futsal coaching certificate.
He also has his BS in Sports Coaching from the University of Education, Winneba Ghana.
Coach George believes that coaching is about developing relationships with your players and bringing the best out of them by understanding and helping develop their individual personalities.
