It is with a heavy heart that we share the heartbreaking news of the unexpected passing of our club President, Andrew Serafini.
The loss is felt deeply within our club and greater soccer community. Andrew's unwavering dedication and commitment spanned over a decade of volunteering his service on our club's Board of Directors, as well as the Regional Club League’s soccer board.
The impact of Andrew's contributions to Rush cannot be overstated. He truly played an instrumental role in shaping the club's growth and development. All those who collaborated with Andrew felt his passion for soccer, the community, youth and especially all things Rush. His leadership and tireless advocacy have left a mark on our organization that will be remembered forever.
Andrew leaves behind a loving family, who meant the world to him. He is survived by his wife, Beth, and their two daughters, Chiara and Alessandra who reside on the East Coast. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time, and we offer them our deepest condolences and support.
