Coach
Mike was raised at Oak Harbor, WA, growing up the child of a military servicemember, spending his childhood traveling and being stationed around the world. He started coaching Rec league soccer in 1988 for the Oak Harbor Youth Soccer Association for 5 years, and earned his “E” license in 1990. Mike has prior volunteer coaching stints with Mill Creek YMCA, Everett Youth Soccer Club, as well as the past 6 years coaching youth teams at Mill Creek Arena Sports.
In addition to soccer, Mike also spent time as an assistant wrestling coach for Oak Harbor Middle School.
Mike attended Western Washington University earning his Bachelors Degree in Communications. He went on to receive his Masters Degree in Education Technology from Lesley University.
Mike resides in Everett with his wife and 2 sons. Both boys are also active members of Washington Rush.
